| Jun. 27th, 2007 08:27 pm Sleepyness Life is all good. I got paid today, so I can throw some money futilely at my debts. And today we actually had some work to do, so the day flew by. Then there was the standard 60 minute crawl home, bath the baby, eat dinner, watch House. . . Leaving just enough time to log on for a bit, do some plastering and go to bed by 9.00. Go Me! I handed my assignment in, and it will only be 3 days late. Surely a world record. I don't cope well on Z shift. 4.20am in the morning should be illegal. I shouldn't have bought half a kilo of julabe. I definitely shouldn't have eaten half a kilo of julabe. With the new joy of having income comes the joy of thinking up fun and exciting ways to spend said income. My current fun and exciting plan involves removal of my wisdom teeth! Yay! Hugs to all. May the sleep fairies come soon. Current Mood: content

| Jun. 12th, 2007 05:21 pm Injections Maf needs it's staff to have Hepatitis vaccinations. When we started they sent us off for blood test to check for immunity to Hep A and Hep B. I came back with immunity to Hep B, yay me! Less injections. We went today for our jabbyness, and the male amongst us was somewhat less than enthusiastic. After half a day of worrying about it he got to the Dr and found they messed up his blood tests and he had to have them again. Bwaa haa haa, the evil blood sample pixies strike again.
11.5 hours is a long shift. Getting up at 4.20am or "Dark O'clock" is not my favourite. Looking forward to knowing what team I will be on so that I can plan around my shifts. Being paid is all good. Being paid to stand around and do nothing for hours on end is boring and makes me feel a bit like a slacker. Roll on ski season and the ensuing increase in passengers. Current Mood: bored

| May. 23rd, 2007 10:22 pm Having a Job On the extra up side of working, I get paid! Yay! Training has been going on for a month now, brain feels over full. Especially from acronyms. Which are just a pain for dyslexic people. Have been working on the search benches today. Why would someone think it a good idea to put a frozen fish in one plastic bag into their suitcase of clothes for an eight hour flight? Why do they act surprised that the fish has thawed and made everything stinky? On the down side of working, driving home from the airport in rush hour traffic is not a favourite. Today I was told my hair was "very pre raphilite". Odd sort of a comment really. Does everyone else agree that Nandos hot sauce is kind of mild? Will be asking for extra hot next time.
